  3. Ahoy! And thanks for downloading ArcsPack-5!  Its just part of the
  4. adventure! :) This pack includes plenty of backdrops and assorted
  5. eye-candy for your amusement. Sorry, no Startup-Pix in this pack.
  6. Startup-pix are very laborious to draw, and often quite boring. So
  7. those who were expecting more startup pix, you'll have to wait for
  8. ArcPack 6. :)

  10. Due to yet more problems with the urchins on the IRC, the
  11. availability of the pre-release of ArcPack 5 was limited. On a related
  12. note, some faggot last week attempted to illegally enter ETSA, my FTP
  13. site. He was quickly punted, and ETSA was shut down for a few hours.
  14. My net provider was informed of the security breach, and the matter was
  15. handled accordingly. ETSA is an Anonymous FTP site open to users by
  16. invitation only.

  18. For more information about login policy and whatnot, be sure to check
  19. the login messages on ETSA (by asking me first, that is...)
  20.  
  21. Another dweeb, in an unrelated move, decided to pull a couple backdrops
  22. out of ArcPack-2 and 3, convert them down to some absolutely shitty
  23. 4-color pallete, and THEN re-release them to the Aminet under his
  24. own name! This person, who I wont name right off the bat, was "informed"
  25. of my feelings towards this.

  27. The same selection of palletes in #4 are also available again in this
  28. pack, so, if you've got a backdrop you love which happens to have a color
  29. you hate, you can quickly and easilly apply your favorite color scheme
  30. to them at your leisure.
